Product Details
If you love knitting intricate cables, you’ll love knitting this scarf. The scarf combines two distinct cables, the border cable, which is simpler with a very unique and special focal cable. Although it is knitted with sport weight yarn, requiring between 600 and 800 yards, the turtleneck section will keep you warm even on the coldest of day. It is knit on a size (US) #4 (3.5mm) needle.
Both stitches are charted only for this pattern.
Skill Level: Intermediate + (assuming a very good working knowledge of cabling .)
There are also instructions for an optional crocheted border, should you want it edged.
The sample was knit with Lorna’s Laces Shepherd Sport in colorway, Fjord.
Any sport weight yarn yielding 6 sts/inch on size (US)#4 (3.5mm) needle in stockinette stitch will work for this pattern.
