The sweet mittens are universally, perfect for outdoor activity and fun to knit. Knit up in an organic yarn, these will keep small hands fashionably warm all through the colder months. The small contrast stripe on the cuff is stretchy and very comfortably for children. The pattern offers a lot of possibilities to play around with colors and yarn leftovers.

Finished mitten size after wet blocking. Hand circumference: 1-2 years – 4.7“ / 12 cm, 3-4 years – 5 ½“ / 14 cm, 5-6 years – 6.3“ / 16 cm, 7-8 years – 6.3“ / 16 cm.
Yarn suggested: Aran (8 ply). The pattern looks with heavily variegated yarns, tweed yarns and handspun very well. You can knit the mittens with two threads of Light Fingering yarn.
1 skein for all sizes, 65-82 yards (60-70 meters) in main color and 8-10 yards (7-9 meters) for a stripe in a cotrast color.
