Product Details

Walking the boardwalk at L’Anse aux Meadows National Historic Site (Newfoundland, Canada) is like walking through treetops. The main body of this design features traveling cables – resembling roots or branches. The border pattern resembles the seed pods found on the tall grasses blowing in the winds. The yarn used is several strands of heavy laceweight yarn and cobweb yarn held together, with a gauge between worsted and aran weight yarn.

Yarn: 630 (2,310, 3,859) 1,488 yards/576 (2,112, 3,529) 1,361 meters of aran weight Merino/Cashmere/Nylon yarn that knits up to 4.75 sts/inch.

Shown In: two strands of MerGoat Lace and two strands of Centolavaggi held together throughout.

Indigodragonfly ‘MerGoat Lace’, (630 yards/576 meters; 80% merino, 10% cashmere, 10% nylon; 4.06 oz/115 grams per skein). 2 skeins in Hallowe’en: Giving Blue Jays Fans Something to Do in October Since 1994.

Filatura Di Crosa ‘Centolavaggi’, (1,531 yards/1,400 meters; 100% merino; 3.53 oz/100 grams). 1 skein in 430 Cobolt.
