Product Details
This beautiful pattern, designed using a modified version of Elizabeth Zimmerman’s Pi Shawl algorithm, can be knit up as a warm winter lace blanket, or as a lovely light lace shawl. Late August uses easy to remember lace patterns to make this project fun and easy!
This pattern includes instructions to make many different versions of this pattern. The original in lace weight and bulky weight, modifications for both weights to make it larger, and to either have the center as a lacy open flowing center or as a beautiful garter with eyelet center.
Yarn Amounts:
Blanket:
2 balls of Cascade Eco+ in the “Straw” colourway or 874 meters (956 yards) of bulky weight yarn
Purple shawl:
1 skein of Sweet Georgia merino silk lace in the “blackberry”colourway or 765 meters (836 yards) of lace weight yarn
Red-y/pink shawl:
2 balls of Indigo Moon in the “Wildberry” colourway or 800 meters (875 yards) of light fingering weight yarn
