Leaf Yoke Cardi/Vest

This is a cardi/vest that is knitted from the neck down. The back of the neck has short rows for shaping. It features a Leaf Inset across the yoke. It is a cute, simple knitted cardi/vest that will look great paired with a turtleneck and a pair of corduroy pants. I used a heavy worsted weight to make mine. The gauge on this pattern is perfect for bulky or heavy worsted weight yarn. It is a perfect knit for one of my favorite yarn....Lambs Pride Worsted. MATERIALS Worsted weight yarn, approximately (575-625-675)(725-775-850) yards 32" Circular knitting needles, sizes 8 (5.00 mm) and 9 (5.50 mm) or size needed to obtain gauge 2--1" Buttons GAUGE: With larger size needles, in Stockinette Stitch, 16 sts and 22 rows = 4"
