Warmth and Style! Zigzags have energy. Legwarmers are all about warmth and style. Together they give you striking warmth—a lightning bolt of energy for your legs.
Yarn: For over-the-knee length shown, 45/50/55gm of MC, and 20/22/25gm each of CC1 and CC2 (total of 3 contrasting colors). Yarn-Choosing Hint: Consider that contrast may include dark / medium / light -or- warm / cool / neutral. Use colors of the same intensity, however. A soft/greyed-out color used with an intensely-saturated color often strikes the eye as a conflict, rather than a contrast. Pictured is: Front leg - Berroco Blackstone Tweed; 2624 rhubarb (berry), 2637 plum & 2635 wharf (grayed aqua). Rear leg - Kathmandu Aran 148 or 191 (purple), 160 or 153 (green) and 179 Jade (aqua/turquoise). Yarn Substitutes: (If using my gauge/stitch counts): Aran-gauge yarn—ball band states appx 4 to 4.75 st/in or contains about 160-190 yd in 100gm, if mostly wool.
