Product Details
The motifs depicted in this crescent-shaped triangular lace shawl are inspired by traditional Estonian stitch patterns. The crescent shape curls delightfully around your shoulders ensuring that it stays put. Because the shawl is shallow rather than deep, you get more mileage from a precious skein of yarn that you would with a traditional triangular shawl which tends to get very deep in order to achieve sufficient width to stay comfortably put on your shoulders.
Knit in a fine lacewieght yarn it creates an ethereal floral delight to wrap yourself in, but it could just as easily be knit in your favourite fingering weight yarn with a larger needle to achieve a larger size.
The sample was knit in Zealana Kia Ora Kiwi. A substitute yarn is shown below.
