The wonder of Lion Brand Fishermen's Wool is its natural fibres, and natural lanolin which make this yarn pretty much waterproof! Perfect for chunky sweaters and accessories, this yarn has fantastic stitch definition so it will bring out your cables and stitch patterns beautifully. The colour palette includes solids, tweeds and heathers, all undyed, so that you could dye this yarn if you wanted; you could felt it - and it is a fantastic yarn to use for homeware. Cushions and blankets look absolutely stunning in this natural yarn. Aran weight, this yarn will knit up on 5.5mm needles, or crochet on a 5mm hook. Please note: Birch Tweed (202) is not 100% wool and skein size is different. It is 170g and 318m. It is also made of 78% Wool,13% Acrylic,9% Rayon.
