Product Details
This cute little knitted bag is easy to make and easy to fill. I used it for my contact lens stuff, but it fits lots of other things too. (See measurements above.) Any light to worsted weight yarn can be used. I recommend a yarn with minimal stretch, like cotton, linen, or hemp. Also, you need 4.5 mm (US 7) knitting needles to work flat and in the round. The crochet hook is optional. (It only is used for picking up stitches, no crocheting is required.) You will need to know how to knit, purl, pick up and knit stitches, work in the round, kfb (you can substitute any single increase), and work 4-stitch i-cord. Pretty simple, right? The bag begins with the bottom. Then, you pick up stitches for the sides and knit up until the bag is your desired height. Finally, you bind off and work i-cord for the handles. Enjoy knitting your own little bag!
