Product Details
These cute little mitts are perfect for using up left over sock yarns, knit them either as a single colour throughout or use up odds and ends with different colours for different sections. It works really nicely with hand dyed yarns with some variation in colours or shades.
They were designed for walking in the woods or pottering in the garden; when you want your fingers out, but your hands/ wrists to be nice and cosy. There is an additional page to download which gives you the adaption to make the Christmas sapling Mitts complete with holly leaves and berries - perfect for a quick gift.
They start out flat and then you start working in the round; the leaves are added on by knitting into the fabric at the end. If you prefer to work entirely in the flat and them seam up afterwards, there is now a flat version of the pattern available.
The mitts are highly adaptable for different size hands; the pattern includes instructions for perfecting your fit.
