London calling? You ask why? Simple.... I designed this pattern to celebrate my trip to London in Autumn 2013. I knew that the evenings would be chilly so needed a cosy, chunkier shawl.
London Calling is a quick knit and fun knit, it is simple and yet effective, worsted weight knits up so fast. The body is reminiscent of the rains drops expected of the London weather and the edging was inspired by the Gothic arches found in Castles, Cathedrals and Ruins found in the UK.
This pattern was available exclusively as part of the Nurturing Fibres Pattern Club and was released on the 1st November 2013 for sale.
