Product Details
Loubelle is a big cosy sweater with a graphic patch-work like motif. Knitted from the bottom up, it starts with a garter rib split hem, longer on the back. The body is then joined in the round and worked until the armholes with alternating textured squares and bobbles. Front and Back are worked flat separately until the neck shaping. Shoulders are worked with short-rows and joined using a three needle bind-off. Sleeves are picked up on the armholes and worked in the round with a bobble line on the top. They are tapered with decreases placed along the top as well, until the cuff worked in garter rib. Finally, stitches are picked up around the neckline and a large collar is worked in garter rib. With its simple construction, intuitive patterning and large gauge, this is a quick comforting project.
