These love heart decorations were made from felted pieces of woollen fabric that were originally knitted using a feltable 100% wool yarn.
I used Aran weight yarns to knit my hearts. The red, pink and white were knitted using New Lanark Aran, while the purple and lilac ones were knitted using Garnstudio Drops Nepal.
The yarn is knitted into rectangles, and after felting in a washing machine the little heart shapes are very easy to cut out and make into your own twiggy tree decorations, garlands or even cards . . . just perfect for Valentine’s Day.
