Inspired by the Pre-Raphealite paintings of Jason and Medea and Medea's story, I created a shawl and Tri'Coterie created a special colorway to fit the theme: Red transitioning to mad black.

This fingering weight shawl is worked top down from the garter tab cast on to the lace edge. The beginning lace section shows the blossoming love, like rosy petals full of hope and faith in the future, reaching out and unfurling towards the sun.
