Mahoney - 4ply reversible family beanie - Sizes 2 years to man

This Beanie has a 2x2 rib brim then is worked in a 10x2 rib. Use a flat seam to make the Beanie reversible, or choose which side you prefer and make that the right side. This self-patterning yarn makes the work look fancier and more complicated than it really is.

Pattern sizes: Age 2-5 yrs, 6-10 yrs, Teen, Lady and Man.

To fit head: 52 (54-55-56-59) cm [20½ (21¼-21¾-22-23) ins].

Yarn required: 1 (1-1-1-1) ball Monte Bianco Sock Yarn, 100g balls@400m.

One ball should be enough to make at least two Beanies.

Needles required: A pair of 3.25mm [UK 10, US 3-4] knitting needles.

Wool needle for sewing up.

Tension: 28 sts and 36 rows to 10cm [4 ins] over stocking st, using 3.25mm needles.
