The pattern is fully charted for both sizes and relies on the ability to read charts. The written instructions provide clarity to areas of the pattern that cannot be completely communicated with the charts, such as forming the picot edging and finishing the thumbs.
Special Techniques: knitting in the round, stranded colourwork, picking up stitches along a cast-on edge, picking up stitches around the thumb opening.
