Product Details
I liked the idea of a boys (or girls) hoodie in James C Brett Marble Chunky, a great value acrylic, machine washable and available in some bright and fun colours. You could use any self striping chunky yarn such as Lanas Stop Belt, Kaippo or Davos. All of which would work well with this pattern. The combination of texture and self striping/marbled colour works really well, even though it shouldn’t. Usually we avoid texture on ‘busy’ yarns but this seems like a marriage made in heaven. It is important to work to the stated tension to ensure your garment is the correct size.
The cardigan is worked in one piece from hem to armholes, then you work the fronts and back separately. Sleeves are worked flat and seamed to the body. The hood is knitted on to the neckline and borders added for buttons/buttonholes.
