Knitting Pattern no. 37. Matinee Coat, Shorts, Bodysuit, Hat and Bootees
To fit a 15-18 inch/38-46 cms doll or newborn baby.
Pattern is for a Matinee Coat, Shorts, Bodysuit, Hat and Bootees.
The pattern uses double knitting wool and sizes 3.25 mm and 4 mm straight needles. You will also need 4 buttons for the Matinee Jacket. The Bodysuit needs 4 buttons to fasten at the back. Stitch holders and stitch markers are also required. Shirring elastic is option for the Shorts.
The main picture shows the outfit knitted using 50 gram balls of Rico Baby Classic DK wool in shades 004 (Rose) and 001 (White).
To knit the complete outfit, you will need 4 balls of Rose and 1 ball of White
Each item knitted separately will need:
Matinee Coat – 1 ball of Rose and 1 ball of White
Shorts – 1 ball of Rose
Bodysuit – 1 ball of Rose and 1 ball of White
Hat – 1 ball of Rose and 1 ball of White
Bootees – 1 ball of Rose
