NOTES

Meadow Frost Mittens are a reasonably quick knit and great for those new to stranded colourwork as there are only two colours. The design was accidental when I was playing about with a chart for something else, but I felt it worked well for mittens. The floats on the inside make this cosy pair extra toasty for winter. These mittens are knitted in the round, increasing for the thumb which is completed at the end. The pattern is fun to follow and is hard to put down!

YARN

Original yarn used:

Blacker Swan DK (100% wool, 50g/110m/119yds) Sample shows Yarn A Balsam Bog, Yarn B Sand Fawn 50g of each colour

For stockists contact: Blacker Yarn 01566 777635

Here I have suggested Rowan Pebble Island as a good substitute as it is also available from LoveCrafts.
