Difficulty: Advanced or motivated beginner. This pattern is a good introduction to cables although it can be tricky to work with two cable needles.
Note about gauge: Gauge is based on the [k3, p3] stitch pattern which narrows the fabric. Worsted or heavy worsted yarns are suggested.
