Product Details

This whole lockdown thing and the warm weather have got me dreaming of glorious seaside days we have spent as a family. But it looks as if making Meranda, whilst sat outside in the garden sun is the closest we are going to be getting to the seaside for a while! So here’s a sweet little mermaid pattern to help us all to bide the time until we can once again, reunite on the beautiful British coast! It is helpful to have had some crochet experience when making any amigurumi, however, I have included in depth photographs and tips and tricks throughout the pattern to help. I have included things that I had wished designers had used in their patterns when I was first starting out - from things as simple as being able to 'see' the stitches, to how to do a simple colour change, to fastenining and securing your work. Hopefully this makes the pattern more accessible to those new to the craft, and eager to learn some new skills.

Notes
I have used some little round safety eye buttons on this doll, which can easily be exchanged for thread.
