Product Details
This design provides an easy introduction to stranded knitting.
The hat is knitted in the round using a lovely 100% merino wool yarn. The yarn knits up to produce a soft cosy hat which will keep you warm as the days grow shorter and temperatures drop.
The hat rim is knitted in double rib stitch. Due to the hat being knitted in the round, the easy colourwork and shaping sections are knitted in knit stitch but produce a stocking stitch result. Instructions for the stranded colourwork are provided in both written and chart form.
After blocking, the finished hat measures 27cm/10.5 inches from the crown to the edge before folding. The circumference of the hat at the base is 50cm/20 inches.
