The instructions allow for the ability to attach the tail to either the right or left side so that they can mirror each other.

They measures approx. 6” tall. These measurements are when Fingering Weight yarn (2) and a 2 mm hook are used. Any weight yarn and correlating hook size could be substituted as long as all colors of yarn are the same size.
