Product Details
This top down crescent shaped shawl is a celebration of my favourite Estonian stitches. Deconstructed, reconstructed and stacked on top of each other, the stitch motifs include eyelets, nupps, flowers, gathered stitches and arguably the prettiest motif of them all - the lily of the valley. Stacked together and interspersed with gathered stitches, the combined motifs result in the emergence of unexpected shapes - archways and minarets, ending in a dramatic nupp encrusted lace edging. Knitting this shawl is pure Estonian lace knitting joy, but in a modern crescent shape.
