Product Details
This softly draping top has an A line lace body which is fairly close fitting around the bust, but is generous over the hips, and features bell shaped lace sleeves. The length of both the body and the sleeves are easily adjusted simply by altering the number of repeats of the 12 row lace pattern but remember to allow for extra yarn if lengthening. The body is worked in the round to the armholes, then Front and Back are worked flat. The sleeves are worked flat.
The lace pattern is very effective but simple to work, starting off with four rows of garter stitch, followed by only one pattern row or round alternating with a plain row or round, which are worked four times, and so would suit a relative newcomer to lace knitting.
Artesano Handpainted Silk Lace is discontinued and so an alternative is suggested here or see other suggestions at www.yarnsub.com.
