The name Misty Valley was chosen to reflect the hazy, blurred effect of the wool stitches combined with the undulating rows resembling peaks and valleys. This yarn lends a slight halo effect to the crocheted fabric, minimizing the stitch definition and creating a fuzzy texture resembling mohair. This causes the stitches to delicately blend together; an effect that pairs beautifully with this textured stitch pattern.
Inspired by colour schemes commonly seen in the 60s and 70s, avocado-green and mustard-yellow were chosen to bring a vintage feel to this modern design.
