Product Details
With this easy pattern you can make a marmot, also known as groundhog, woodchuck or whistle pig.
Size: 5.5 inch / 14 cm sitting when made with Istex Lett Lopi and hook E / 3,5 mm.
The instructions are written in US crochet terms. The pattern contains a list of materials, tools and accessories needed. Brand and colour numbers of the needed yarn. A clear and colour coded description of how to crochet and assemble the animal. Pictures and illustrations to help getting everything right.
Materials: For this crochet marmot you’ll need worsted weight yarn and an E US/3.5 mm crochet hook. You’ll need four or three colours of yarn, murky brown, 2/4 of a 100 yard skein (body), barley, 1/20 (belly) and left-over bits of light beige for the muzzle and eyebrows, acorn heather for the paws and ears. For the eyes use 8 mm animal eyes. You will also need fibrefill and pellets for a bit of extra weight in the body (I use Hama beads). Lopi colour numbers: 1420, 1419, 0086, and 0053.
