Product Details
It is a seamless sweater worked top-down in one piece with saddle shoulders. It has an unshaped silhouette and positive ease about 2 - 3” (5 - 8 cm). It features a turtle neck with a beautiful lace pattern and the same lace pattern adorns the central part of the front. The long straight sleeves and back are worked in Stockinette stitch and finished with 1x1 Twisted ribbing.
Yarn: Light fingering or Fingering weight yarn; approximately 300 - 400 g/ 1300 - 2200 yds (1200 - 2000 m). For size M (pictured) I used 300g of lambswool yarn (100% wool, 1640 yds(1500m)/100g). Worked in 3 strands (= 500m/100g).
Gauge: 27 stitches and 36 rows = 10 cm in Stockinette st with US4 (3.5 mm)
Knitting skills: basic knitting skills, round knitting, lace knitting, increasing (M1R, M1L, M1p), picking up sts, German Short Rows.
