Product Details
Based on my Eureka! shawl design, here comes a shallower version featuring a string of eyelets along each side. N-eu-reka! is a play on the original name – ‘neu’ meaning new in German.
The shawl is worked flat from the bottom up, starting the tip with a few stitches and increasing upwards, making your rows longer as you add a new triangle on each side. An eyelet row along each side emphasizes the v-shape. You can make the shawl as big or small as you like, stopping at any point.
I made mine in a blend of merino/nylon DK weight yarn held together with a mohair/silk lace yarn, giving both structure, texture and an amazingly soft fabric. Combine yarns as you like! Really it can be worked in any yarn weight you want.
