Product Details
These 7 creations inspired by Native American and Southwest themes will make a colorful addition to your kitchen decor. Great gift idea too!
The double thickness potholders are made using worsted weight yarn, in your choice of cotton or acrylic. Designs are formed by cleverly placed dropped dc sts worked in front lp of st 2 rows below. All color changes are done at beginning of rows, so you are only working with one color at a time.
Each potholder is about 7" square and uses a G crochet hook with gauge of 4 sts and 4 rows = 1". You can easily make it larger by using an I hook with gauge of 7 sts and 7 rows = 2".
Pattern booklet includes written instructions as well as optional graphs for Fiesta, Mesa, Taos, Apache Tears, Diamond, Southwest Style and Tribal Traditions Potholders. Easy to do and perfect "take-along" projects.
See my website for a how-to video on how to make the easy dropped dc stitch which forms the design.
