This New Elf in Town is a sister pattern, but it is NOT the same!
Let me tell you the difference!
A part of the older pattern (Elf Pixie Balaclava) is knit in the round and then a part of it is knit flat. The new pattern is knit flat only.
The old pattern has some tricky parts like picking up and knitting stitches. The new pattern does not have any of this.
The old pattern is constructed in a slightly more complex way. The new pattern is very, very straightforward.
But what about the fit, you may ask? The old pattern is slightly more snug-fitting than the new one. Otherwise, the sizing is the same and both stay put once you put them on.
But how easy it is to put it on and take it off, you may ask? Easy! Super easy for both old and new ones!
