The Oh Bee-Hive Honey Bee Tea Cosy knitting pattern is a really summery feeling tea cosy that is fun to make and looks amazing. The hive tea cosy design was based on the inside of a hive and the honeycomb pattern with all that wonderful honey. Fittingly I used Honeycomb stitch to create the main part of the cosy.
The beautiful knitted honey bees on the cosy are busily working away filling the honeycomb with pollen that they have freshly collected from the white flowers that decorate the spout and handle openings.
I love this tea cosy because it feels so fresh and I do love honeybees.
The Oh Bee-Hive Honey Bee Tea Cosy fits a medium sized teapot that covers a Teapot that holds 6 to 8 cups or 2 pints.
