This Old Shale Shetland Hap is a piece linking the past and the present, where traditional stitching and construction meet the modern knitting techniques and fibres we nowadays have access to. Enjoy creating your very own and special wrap for everyday use.

Built from inside to the outside, this hap has a centre square knitted diagonally back and forth. Based on that, is the Old Shale wavy border made in the round and finished with a mini version of the traditional peaked edging formed perpendicular to the border. This hap requires blocking.
The pattern includes written and charted instructions, photographs, tips and links to video tutorials.
