FINISHED MEASUREMENTS 2.4 x 0.8 in (6 x 2 cm) approx.
ORIGINAL YARN 1 g of OPAL Hundertwasser #1431. Yarn weight/length: 465 yds (425 m) / 3.6 oz (100 g). Alternatively, use any other yarn of approx yardage.
NEEDLES One set of three double-pointed needles size US 4/0 (1.25 mm).
NOTIONS Scissors, tapestry needle, nylon hair tie.
GAUGE Gauge is not crucial for this project, but you should work tight enough so the leaves are shaped well. Choose needles 2-3 mm smaller than the size recommended on the yarn label.
It takes up to thirty minutes to create one hair tie.
