Product Details

A fun pompom hat with a cute owl on the side. Knitted in chunky/bulky yarn, it will keep you or your family and friends snug and warm. Yarn recommendations are given, but most chunky/bulky yarns should work. Sizes are for toddler, child, adult and large adult.

Instructions are written line by line, and are in English, with British and American terms. It is an easy/intermediate pattern: skills needed are cast/bind on, knit, purl, knit or purl 2 together and very simple cabling. (Even if it's your first time at cabling, you will still be able to do this cable! You just need a cable needle.) Sewn flat on 2 needles and sewn up the back.

You will need a pompom maker to make the pompom. It is 85mm (3 and 3/8in). (Or you could use 2 circles of card.)

Free scarf pattern and other matching patterns available separately - please click on my name to see all my patterns - thank you.

A quick, fun knit for family, friends and you. Looks great in a variety of colours too!
