Product Details
This is a lovely owl slouchy hat that I first knitted for my daughter, who loved it so much that she wanted another. She had a skull on the side, so I modified it to incorporate a cute owl instead.
It is an easy to intermediate level. You will need to know cast on, knit, purl, knit 2 together, purl 2 together, and very simple cable. (Even if you have never cabled before, you will still be able to do this cable.)
Instructions are in English, with British and American terms, written clearly line by line. Knit on 2 needles and sewn up the back. Options are given for a longer slouch and for knitting the owl in a different colour, using the Intarsia technique.
A fun knit, that is great for presents, for family and friends. Matching items available - please click on my name to be taken to all my other patterns, including a free owl scarf one - thank you.

The pattern was very well written and easy to follow. I also knit the mitts to match as a Christmas gift, so I know it will be very well received. So cute. Any child would love to wear this hat. Owl shaped up perfectly too.
