Product Details
Of the worlds’ oceans, the Pacific is the largest and deepest and home to an abundance of flashy fish and corals. Through this pattern you’ll get to meet the juvenileyellow boxfish*, the lavish, lustrous* purple anthias*,* Moorish idol*,* Picassofishand - to keep you busy in these strange times - I’ve added somecarnation tree coralandpink flowerpot coral*.*
These fish and corals are easy to medium, fast projects, that ask for both knitting flat and in the round, intarsia color work and picking up/transferring of stitches. The textured stitch pattern for the flowerpot coral is comprehensively explained.
The reef creatures were knitted on 2.25 mm double pointed needles (UK 13, US 1) with only small amounts of yarns (18 - 20 m per project) and they are a great way to use up any scraps you have lying around. Together, they make a great mock aquarium or a colorful crib mobile.
So, bring some blazing bliss to your knit and enjoy these cute, small projects! Stay strong, Viv
