Product Details
The cowl is worked flat using a sideways construction and then joined into a loop when you have either run out of yarn or time
Ideal for a variegated yarn paired with a solid, or two contrasting solids, or play with pairing two different yarn weights for a thick and thin effect. Or stir it up by adding more colours to the mix..
Gauge is not critical with this project. 9mm needles were used with my sample, but please adjust your needle size to suit your own yarn. This design is suited to a range of weights from fingering to super bulky, and adaptable to any yardage.
The width of the cowl can be easily altered by casting on more or less sts, and adjusting the formula accordingly. Finished dimensions will vary with yarn weight.
Yardage listed for the sample in the pattern (170y of super bulky yarn) is the total amount, not per colour. The design can be adapted to different yardages by altering the width at the start, or by altering the length as you go.
