Product Details
PDF knitting pattern for a pair of fingerless mitts/gloves with a panda on the front of each mitt. The backs of the mitts are plain. The panda is holding a tasty bamboo stalk across his tummy and is knitted using the intarsia method. The gloves could be knitted in plain stocking stich and the panda added afterwards using duplicate stitch. The yarn used for the mitts in the photograph was 4ply weight pure wool for the grey and mauvy-blue mitts and mercerised cotton for the teal mitts. The grey mitts were knitted using Rowan Pure Wool 4ply in Shale (light grey). Any 4ply yarn - wool, cashmere or cotton - can be used for these cute panda fingerless mitts. You will need approximately 30-40gm of the main colour and oddments in black, white, greens, blue and pink for the panda and bamboo stalk. Charts for both left and right mitt are included, along with full knitting instructions. The pattern is suitable for fairly experienced knitters. (c)Twisted Classics
