Product Details
This is a photo tutorial with written instructions for my original Peacock Eye Feather Appliques or Motifs.
You can use these small motifs to form a peacock tail fan or, of course, any other shape you like. They would look lovely on a cushion cover or as embellishments on a box lid, bag or hat.
Each little applique measures 4 x 6.5 cm / 1.6 x 2.6 inch and I made them using mercerized cotton, which has a more lustrous appearance than regular cotton and is stronger.
This design is suitable for BEGINNERS since it has clear written instructions and photos. All you need is a 2.5 mm (C) hook and to be able to make: • ch = chain• slst = slip stitch• sc = single crochet• hdc = half double crochet• dc = double crochet• trc = triple crochet• picot 3 These are American terms. British terms included in the pattern too.
I like to use Scheepjes Catona mercerized cotton for this design.
