Product Details
Pebble Beach Light Shawl is essentially the same pattern as my Pebble Beach Shawl which is made in a Chunky yarn; but it shows how different one shawl can look when it's made in different weight yarns.
The pictures shown use Red Heart It's a Wrap - one ball in Western, the blue shawl is Scheepjes Whirl - one ball. The pink one is Northern Lights from James C. Brett
This pattern is great for a beginner to make a shawl as you start from one point of the triangle and just increase on one side only working in rows, maintaining a straight side. When you get to the centre you begin decreasing till you return to a point. As you are working across the piece in rows it's easy to count your stitches and and see if your pattern is on track as your shawl grows.
You can decide how big to make your shawl as the pattern contains all the information needed to adjust the size.
