Product Details
This pattern is for a loose-ftting madly-cabled totally unique drop-shoulder sweater! The all-over cable pattern is achieved with just four small cable charts designated Spades, Hearts, Diamonds and Clubs and a pack of playing cards to generate the order in which to knit them. The cables align perfectly with the cuffs, welts, neckband and shoulders, but just go a little crazy on the journey.
The sweater front, back and sleeves are worked flat bottom-up. The front and back shoulders are joined with a 3-needle bind off or grafted in pattern. The sleeves are seamed to the body and then the sides and underarms are seamed together. The neckband is picked up, worked in the round and then folded in half and sewn in place.
