A Pukeko is the New Zealand/Maori name for the Australasian swamp hen (aka Purple Swamp Hen).
There is something about them that just makes you smile - I love their long legs and funny walk!
Measures 14 inches tall, 8 inches when seated.
Special technique/s: legs and claws are worked in i-cord or in the round
