Product Details
I call this ‘Phantom’ skull because the homage to the Punisher Skull in the pattern is almost so subtle that if you’re not looking for it, you won’t even notice the skull!) and it looks great on either side (another must for any scarf) and the scarf itself looks simple and classic with the stockinette bordered by ribbing.
This pattern requires about 450 yards worsted weight yarn Completed dimensions about 11" wide by 76" long - the length of the scarf can be adjusted easily to suit any preference. Pattern is suitable for an adventurous beginner, and is created using only knit and purl stitches. I have written out the instructions for the skull in line-by-line format but I have also included a handwritten chart, done on knitting graph paper for more advanced knitters that prefer chart work.
The cast on and bind off are a little complicated, but will give you the best results. I have included links within the pattern to my favorite tutorials for each method.
