Phemonoe is a generous, spiral-shaped wrap. Initially worked in repeating, nested crescents to achieve the length, it is finished with a lacy border worked in rows along outside edge.
In the myths, Phemonoe was a Greek poetess and the daughter of Apollo and Delphi. She was reputed to be the author of the Delphic maxim, “Know thyself.”
The wrap is 12.5 in. (31.8 cm) at the widest point by 68 in. (173 cm) tip to tip along the inner curve.
The following stitches were used: chain; foundation single crochet; half double crochet; single crochet; slip stitch; treble crochet; two double crochet cluster; two treble crochet cluster.
