Go Retro with a Bermuda Bag! Once you've mastered the Basic Bermuda Bag, you can branch out with this slightly more complicated pattern that uses many of the same techniques as the basic pattern. You'll end up with a tweedy two color cover that matches multiple outfits!
You'll need 164 yards of Color A and 82 yards of Color B. The pattern calls for washable organic cotton, but you can use most kinds of stash to create bag covers that match your knitwear.
This uses the Jesse B. Collection Bermuda Bag as a template. If you have a Bermuda bag that is bigger or smaller, you may have to adjust the pattern slightly to fit the bag you own.
The sample was made with Lion Brand Organic Cotton in Bark and Almond. Suggested substitute yarns are shown below.
