Product Details

This rabbit may be fresh off your needles but he looks like he has received a lot of cuddles and loving already. This is a pattern to create a vintage look rabbit in a primitive style using simple hand knitting and embellishment skills and cotton yarn with wool from your stash. The knitted pieces are stained with a coffee and cinnamon solution at the end to give him that aged look but he would look equally fabulous without staining if grunge is not your thing or he is going to be given to a young child and frequent washing is likely. Suitable as a friend for a child (using embroidered embellishments rather than buttons to avoid any choking hazards if a young child is the recipient) or an Art Doll for an adult. Rabbit uses very little yarn and is a delightful stashbuster while also providing a base to show off any odd, reclaimed buttons, vintage lace and trim etc if he is destined to be a work of art rather than a toy.
