Product Details
These stranded colourwork mittens were inspired by the traditional shapes of Scandinavian and Baltic accessories.
Starting with ribbing and a jogless stripe of contrast for a modern look, the mittens have a long cuff to keep your wrists warm. A thumb gusset is worked on the palm for comfort and the motifs continue seamlessly around and on the thumb. Knit in DK weight yarn, they're a quick and intuitive knit. The pattern provides help on how to adjust your gauge to get a different fit.
Techniques used : Stranded knitting with two colours and few floats to catch / Thumb gusset with simple increases / Jogless colour stripe in ribbing / Triangular shape mitten and thumb top with simple decreases / Pattern provides charts and written instructions
