Note about pattern:
when casting off stitches for button holes, each 'c/o' stitch should be worked: k2, lift first stitch over second and drop off needle'. This will keep the number of stitches correct and the buttonhold properly aligned.
When casting stitches back on for buttonholes, use backwards loop method, onto right needle.
