What a nice hanger to keep clothes from slipping off! Don’t you just hate it when you hang your favorite dress only to find it in a pile on the closet floor? This unique and “very easy” stitch makes a wonderful hanger cover that helps keep clothes where they belong, on the hanger! Use up worsted weight yarns in many colors and make some for your friends too. This fits over a standard plastic hanger. But will fit a wire hanger as well. You will need a small amount of pillow stuffing, or cotton balls to stuff the knitted “puffs” along the way as you sew up the hanger. Knitting needles US # 9.
